 1. There are no signal when I turn on the device for more than 30 minutes. What should I do?

  1. Firstly, please ensure that you are outdoors and have a clear view of the sky.
  2. Secondly, the GPS satellite receiver have to be reset. To reset the satellite receiver, please follow the instruction for each model.
  • Model 3303/E668/E688i: On the main menu, click on "System" >> "Sys Info" >> "GPS Reset". Under "GPS Reset", please select "Yes" to reset the receiver.
  • Model A3308:  Please press the reset button which located next to the 3.5mm jack by using sharp object.
  • Model E668XP/G70 : On the main menu, please click on ">>" button until you see "GPS Info". Then, please select "GPS Info"  and there is a "Reset" button on the bottom left, click on it and select "Yes" to reset the GPS satellite receiver. The "Signal State" will become "Valid" once the satellite signal have been locked down.
  • Model G73/G73i : On the main menu, please select "Tools" >> "GPS Info". Please click on the "Reset" button which located on the bottom left and select "Yes" to reset the satellite receiver. The "Signal State" will become "Valid: once the satellite signal have been locked down.

Please wait for 1-5 minutes after reset the satellite receiver. If the satellite signal is still invalid after reset, please return the device to our service centre such that we can troubleshoot tfor you.

2. My GPS touchscreen is not responsive/inaccurate. What should I do?

The touchscreen must be recalibrated if it becomes inaccurate or not responsive to the touch input.

  • Model 3303/E668/E688i: On the main menu, click on "System" >> "Sys Info" >> "Calibration", and tab on "+" point accordingly by using stylus or pen.
  • Model A3308: On the main menu. click on "Settings" >> "System"  >> "Emend T-Scr", and tab on "+" point accordingly by using stylus or pen.
  • Model E668XP/G70/G73/G73i : On the main menu, click on "Settings" >> "Calibration", and tab on "+" point accordingly by using a stylus or pen.

If the touchscreen is still inaccurate or not responsive after calibration, please return the device to our service centre such that we can troubleshoot for you.

3. I cannot enter GPS navigation software even if the SD card is inserted in the card slot. What should I do?

Please remove the SD card from the card slot and insert the SD card again. A "cling" sound should be heard after the card is inserted. Then, please go to "Setting" and select "Nav Path" (for model E668XP, G70. G73, G73i only) or  "Navigation" (for model A3308 only). The navigation software path should be set as "\SDMMC\MobileNavigator\MobileNavigtor.exe". Once the navigation software path is set, the GPS navigation software will be good to go again.

4. The map is not shown after I perform map update. What should I do?

Please make sure that you have downloaded the correct map for your device. For example, if your device is preloaded with Malaysia map only then you will have to download the Malaysia map only version. Please ensure that the map is placed under "MagaNavi" >> "Map" folder. You may also bring your device to our service centre such that our technical personnel able to assist you to update the map.

5. I can't listen any sound on my G73/G73i. What should I do?

Please go to "Settings" >> "FM Transmitter" and make sure that the "Use FM" option is untick. Please return the device to our service centre if this method is unable to solve your problem.
